How this range is made

Every piece in the bamboo skewers range starts as a mature Bambusa tulda culm cut at three to four years, when the fibre is dense enough to hold an edge without splintering. The culm is cross-cut to length, split into strips, sized to diameter, kiln dried down to 8–12% moisture and then machine polished. Nothing is bleached, sulphured, waxed or coated, so the surface you hold is the bamboo itself — which is why the pieces stay stable in hot, oily and frozen applications alike.

Sizing is controlled at the machine rather than sorted afterwards, so length and diameter stay consistent across cartons and your line does not need to re-check packs. Each size page below lists the piece weight and pieces per kilo, which is the number most kitchens and packers actually plan against when they convert a monthly usage into a purchase quantity.

Buying, invoicing and delivery

Retail packs are priced inclusive of GST and ship from our own unit, so there is no trading layer between the factory and your kitchen.
